In response to these limitations, our proposed technology is a software that enables doctors to visualize and interact with the brain through an interactive 3D model, using Virtual Reality (VR). Users can step into a fully immersive virtual environment where they can interact with the brain by slicing it and viewing the inside, rotating it, and drawing on it. This intuitive tool will assist in surgical diagnosis and planning.
The Solution: 3D Printing
Our second solution is to assess multiple types of images into a comprehensive model created through 3D printing. Aside from providing a physical clinical assessment of patient data, our platform can also be doubled as an instructive tool for medical students in training.
